Estimate Poker is built to work without accounts, which keeps the data we handle to a minimum. This policy explains what little we collect and why.

1. What we collect

When you use Estimate Poker we process only what the product needs to function: the display name and avatar you choose, the rooms you create or join, the stories and estimates entered in those rooms, and basic technical data (browser type, approximate region) used to keep the service running and abuse-free.

2. What we don't collect

We don't require an email address, password, or any account. We don't sell personal data, we don't run third-party advertising, and we don't track you across other sites.

3. How long we keep it

Room data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service. Inactive rooms and their contents are deleted automatically after a period of inactivity. Local preferences (like your display name) are stored in your own browser and can be cleared by you at any time.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use local storage strictly for functionality: remembering your display name, avatar, and recent rooms on your device. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data relating to you. Because most data lives in your browser or in short-lived rooms, the fastest route is usually clearing your browser data or letting a room expire, but you can always contact us for help.

1. The service

Estimate Poker provides online planning-poker rooms for collaborative estimation. The service is currently offered free of charge. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to store sensitive personal data, to harass others, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to rooms, or to disrupt the service. Room creators are responsible for the content their team enters.

3. Your content

Story titles, estimates, and other content you enter remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and display that content to the people in your room. That's the whole point.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Rooms and their contents may expire and be deleted; don't treat Estimate Poker as a system of record for your backlog.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which, for a free service, is zero.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
